Bentie: your little bento shop

Bentie

Your little bento shop

A cozy little bento shop where animal customers stop by for lunch. See what they want, grab food off the belt, pack their box, decorate the lid, and serve it across the counter. Then see what they think.

Paid once. No ads, no in-app purchases.

The iPhone Duo's cover screen after serving: a raccoon at the counter under the noren, with the open lunchbox of sushi rolls and tamagoyaki on a blue placemat, a cup of tea and chopsticks beside it.

On iPhone Duo, the hinge is the lid

Open the phone and the customer waits on one half while you pack the box on the other. When the lunch is ready, fold the phone shut.

The counter on an open iPhone Duo: an empty purple lunchbox and the food belt on the left half, a deer at the counter with two requests pinned up on the right half.

Fold it shut to close the box

The cover screen becomes the outside of the lid, with the latch, the customer's name tag and a rail of stickers down the edge. Stick on a heart or a star, then serve it.

Open it to see their face

Open the phone again and the customer lifts the lid. Five stars for a perfect lunch, a "Wow!!" over their head, and coins in the jar.

On a regular iPhone or iPad you get the same shop in a landscape layout, with a swipe for the lid.

A day at the shop

Every customer has a lunch in mind. Pack what they asked for, follow the little rules, and try for five stars.

The counter: an empty purple lunchbox and the food belt on the left, a deer with the Purple Garden order and two requests on the right.

Take the order

Each customer shows you the foods they want, plus a special request or two. Maybe they want something purple, or want you to leave out the cherry tomatoes.

The conveyor keeps moving, so grab what you need and pack their lunch.

Packing: rice, carrot flowers, tamagoyaki and broccoli in the box, with Bentie's tip to find a purple food on the belt.

Follow the little rules

Every favorite in the box, no empty dish, sweets and raw fish kept apart from the meal. Bentie coaches you the first few times you slip.

Decorate the lid

Hearts, stars, rice balls and clouds to start. Earn coins and the sticker board fills up.

The review card with five stars and Perfect lunch beside a cow saying Wow over the open box of fruit.

Serve it and see their face

Five stars, coins for the shop, and a happy customer. Replay any lunch to beat your best.

The Lunch Album: Day 1 and Day 2, each lunch shown as its packed box with the customer and its stars.

Every lunch is kept

The Lunch Album saves each box with the customer, the food you packed and the lid you decorated. Share one from the album, or put it on your Home Screen as a widget.

Bentie's Shop on the Plates tab: Indigo rim in use, Sakura, Blue waves and Wooden tray for sale, 221 coins in hand.

Make the shop yours

Spend your coins on plates, tea cups, chopsticks, placemats, lanterns, wall art, lid patterns, stickers, and new music for the restaurant.

24 reservations, six days

Four lunches are waiting each day. Clear one to open the next, and go back to Reservations any time to replay a lunch for a perfect five stars. After the 24th, the shop stays open for walk-in customers and the optional Lunch Rush.

Free Play is there whenever you just want to pack a box.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Nothing leaves the phone. Bentie does not collect personal information, use analytics, show ads, or track you. There are no accounts and no servers of ours. Your lunches, coins, shop purchases, album and settings are saved on this device only; delete the app and they are gone.

Game Center is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center, the achievements you earn and your scores on the leaderboards (lunches served, stars, coins, animals served) go to Apple's Game Center under your Game Center profile, as described in Apple's privacy policy. Bentie never sees your Apple ID, and plays the same if you are not signed in.

Motion. While a lunchbox lid is shut, Bentie reads the phone's motion sensors so the food can slide when the box is tilted or jostled. The readings are used on the spot and are never saved or sent anywhere.

The widget and sharing. The home-screen widget shows pictures of lunches you served; they are kept on this device for the widget only. Sharing a lunch from the album uses the system share sheet, and only when you tap Share.

Everyone. Bentie does not use the camera, the microphone, your location or your contacts. It is the same for children and adults: it collects nothing from anyone.

This website. This page counts visits with Plausible, a cookieless analytics service. It does not use cookies or collect information that identifies you directly. The app itself never talks to it.

Changes. If what Bentie collects ever changes, this page and the date above change first, before the update ships.
